Baia Lounge Chair

Design by Kensaku Oshiro, 2026

Designed to invite moments of relaxation, the Baia Lounge Chair extends the Baia collection with a striking lounge chair that pairs generous comfort with distinctive design.

The upholstered signature backrest draws inspiration from the semicircular shape of a bay, introducing a soft, organic element that contrasts beautifully with the steel frame. The result is a sculptural silhouette that appears both light and refined from every angle.

The frame comes in either chrome-plated or powder-coated black steel and is manufactured using a complex welding technique. A seat frame in flat steel is paired with slender steel tubes, creating a subtle symmetry through the balanced proportions of the horizontal and vertical elements. The upholstered backrest and seat provide excellent comfort and are available in a curated selection of fabrics and leathers.

Designed for both residential and hospitality interiors, the Baia Lounge Chair adapts effortlessly to a wide range of contemporary spaces.
