Ten Table Oval

Design by Christian Troels & Jacob Plejdrup, 2021

dk3 was among the first brands to introduce the plank table to the Scandinavian market back in 2009, and as a natural continuation of this design heritage, dk3 founder Jacob Plejdrup and Danish designer Christian Troels developed the Ten Table to mark dk3’s 10th anniversary in 2019. In 2020, the table was accompanied by a coffee table and a round dining table, and now the dining table is also available in an oval version. With the introduction of the oval dining table, the Ten Table series now includes a complete range of dining and coffee tables in the characteristic and exclusive design.

The Ten Table series is the outcome of an exciting and successful cooperation between Jacob Plejdrup and Christian Troels, where the great level of details and craftsmanship accuracy of Christian Troels is perfectly merged with Jacob Plejdrup's basic ideas on large dining tables, such as highlighting the beauty of the natural material in a minimalistic way.

The tabletop and table legs are made of solid wood, but despite the table's heaviness in size and weight, it still has a lightness, which is emphasized by the refined crafted details like the organic-shaped oval tabletop with a slightly sloping edge and the distinctive vertical grooves of the legs.
